Yes. The Sparx SAMURAI is compatible with all steel types, including:

Is a Deburring Disc Included with the SAMURAI?

Yes. Every Sparx SAMURAI includes one Sparx Deburring Disc.

Each Deburring Disc is designed to deburr approximately 200 pairs of skates.

How Long Does a Deburring Disc Last?

A single Sparx Deburring Disc can deburr approximately 200 pairs of skates. Actual lifespan may vary based on usage and deburring technique.

When the disc is fully worn, simply remove it and install a new one. No tools are required.

Replacement Deburring Discs are available separately.

How Do I Replace the Deburring Disc?

When the Deburring Disc has reached the end of its service life:

1. Remove the existing disc.
2. Install a new Sparx Deburring Disc.
3. No tools are required.

Replacement discs can be purchased separately.

What Does the Red Adjustment Dial Do?

The red adjustment dial is used to position the Deburring Disc correctly against the metal guide.

When properly adjusted, you will hear a light buzzing sound during operation. As the Deburring Disc gradually wears over time, the red dial can be used to move the disc back into the optimal position.

Because the Deburring Disc wears very slowly, adjustments are typically needed only occasionally.

Can SAMURAI Deburr 4 mm Skate Blades?

The Skate Guide included with the SAMURAI is designed for 3 mm steel.

A separate Skate Guide designed for 4 mm steel is available separately.

What Is the SAMURAI Elite Stand?

The Sparx SAMURAI Elite Stand is an optional accessory designed to provide additional stability and visibility during deburring.
